Thank you for your interest in the Sebastian River Art Club

We are a group of artists and others interested in art that live in and around Sebastian, Florida. We meet weekly informally on Tuesday at 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. throughput the year. Business meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month (Sept. – May), promptly at 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. for sign-in. 50/50 raffle until 12:30 to support Scholarship Fund.
First and last Tuesday of each month includes paint-a-longs, demonstrations, field trips or individual painting as desired. Meetings include art demonstrations and opportunities to draw or paint from still life arrangements or live models. Critiques are available at our meetings as well as general support and camaraderie from our members. They also include opportunities to socialize with other artists. Please bring your own materials and a covering to protect the table and/or floor (if using an easel). Tables are setup for our use.

For those wishing to display and sell their art, we offer monthly shows in the Sebastian River Park from November through May. Club members may also volunteer to exhibit their work in local banks, the Sebastian City Hall, the Sebastian Chamber of Commerce, and other business locales in Sebastian. Please bring a membership form, annual dues and three (3) samples of your work to one of our business meetings if you are interested in joining the club.

Our meetings take place at the former City Hall Chamber at 1245 Main St. It is located in the front annex building to the left of former Sebastian City Hall (now hosting the Historical Society and IRSC). Please use the parking spaces to the left and /or rear of the building to allow students of IRSC to park in the front.

Directions: US 1 to Main Street West, past RR tracks, past police department, past city hall, to Gibson St. the right into the city complex rear entrance. We are the front annex building called the "Art Center".
